Our Content Provider the British Film Institute will soon acquire 26 TV shows and films from the popular streaming platform Netflix, in an effort to preserve content created for digital services. Over the next five years hundreds of Netflix UK productions deemed to be culturally significant and selected by BFI curators will be preserved in the BFI National Archives - a partnership that will be hopefully imitated by other national cinematheques and streaming platforms !
