1972. Üldosakond, töötasuosakond, plaani-ökonoomika osakond, tootmisvalitsus, tehnikavalitsus, tehnilise progressei valitsus, mehhaniseerimise ja transpordivalitsus, revisjoniosakond, raamatupidamise osakond, tööstusvalitsus, kapitaalehituse osakond, tsiviilkaitse osakond, juriidiline osakond, majandusosakond, kaadrite ja eriosakond, peaökonomist, ohutustehnika insener ja spordimetoodik.
1973. Moodustati ohutustehnika inspektsioon
Vastavalt ENSV Ministrite Nõukogu määrusele 29.04.1956 “Abinõudest ehitustegevuse parandamiseks vabariigi kolhoosides” moodustati 1956.aastal 4 kolhoosidevahelist ehitusorganisatsiooni (Keila, Loksa, Tõrva ja Elva). Järgmisel aastal moodustati veel 12 ehitusorganisatsiooni ja 1962.aastaks oli nende arv tõusnud juba 23-ni.
Vastavalt ENSV Ministrite Nõukogu määrusele nr 135, 26.03.1962 “Ehitustööde organiseerimise parandamisest põllumajanduses” moodustati Koondis “Eesti Põllumajandustehnika” juures Kolhoosidevaheliste Ehitusorganisatsioonide Vabariiklik Nõukogu (EKE Vabariiklik Nõukogu). Kolhoosidevaheliste Ehitusorganisatsioonide Vabariikliku Nõukogu moodustamiseks kutsuti 28.04.1962 Tallinnas kokku kolhoosidevaheliste ehitusorganisatsioonide volinike üldkoosolek. Vabariigi 23 organisatsiooni (Abja, Elva, Haapsalu, Harju, Jõgeva, Kadrina, Keila, Saare, Lihula, Märjamaa, Paide, Põltsamaa, Põlva, Pärnu, Rakvere, Rapla, Tartu, Valga, Viljandi, Võru, Väike-Maarja ja Vändra) poolt valiti 44 volinikku. Volinike üldkoosolek kinnitas Kolhoosidevaheliste Ehitusorganisatsioonide Vabariikliku Nõukogu põhikirja ja valis Vabariikliku Nõukogu juhatuse esimeheks Herman Keerniku. Tegelikult alustas Vabariiklik Nõukogu tööd 01.06.1962.
EKP Keskkomitee ja ENSV Ministrite Nõukogu määruse nr 187, 06.04.1963 alusel allutati ENSV Kolhoosidevaheliste Ehitusorganisatsioonide Vabariiklik Nõukogu ENSV Põllumajanduse Ministeeriumile. ENSV Kolhoosidevaheliste Ehitusorganisatsioonide Vabariikliku Nõukogu kõrgemaks organiks oli EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu üldkoosolek. Üldkoosolek valis EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu juhatuse ja revisjoni komisjoni.
01.01.1963 ENSV Ministrite Nõukogu soovitusel likvideeriti Saare kolhoosidevaheline ehitusorganisatsioon ja Saaremaa kolhoosides pandi ehitustööde tegemine riikliku Kingissepa ehitusvalitsuse peale.
Kolhoosidevaheliste ehitusorganisatsioonide tugevdamise eesmärgil teostati alljärgnevad liitmised ja likvideerimised:
01.01.1963 – Märjamaa KEK ühendati Rapla KEK-iga
01.10.1963 – Elva KEK liideti Tartu KEK-iga; Abja KEK liideti Viljandi KEK-iga; Vändra KEK liideti Pärnu KEK-iga; Räpina KEK liideti Põlva KEK-iga. Kadrina KEK likvideeriti ja tema varandus anti üle Paide ja Rakvere ehituskontorile.
01.01.1964 – ühendati Keila KEK Harju KEK-iga.
01.07.1964 – ühendati Põltsamaa KEK Jõgeva KEK-iga.
01.10.1965 – ühendati Väike-Maarja KEK Rakvere KEK-iga.
01.01.1966 – ühendati Lihula KEK Haapsalu KEK-iga.
1966.aasta alguses oli kokku 12 kolhoosidevahelist ehitusorganisatsiooni (Haapsalu, Harju, Jõgeva, Paide, Põlva, Pärnu, Rakvere, Rapla, Tartu, Valga, Viljandi ja Võru).
01.09.1966 moodustati isemajandav Projekteerimise Büroo ja Eksperimentaaljaoskond.
12.06.1968 moodustati juhatuse otsusega EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu Eksperimentaal ehitusjaoskonna baasil EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu Ehitusvalitsus.
EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu juhatuse 06.02.1968 otsuse ja ENSV Ministrite Nõukogu 07.03.1968 korralduse nr 207-k alusel reorganiseeriti EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu Projekteerimise Büroo alates 01.03.1968 EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu Projekteerimise Instituudiks “EKE Projekt” (PI “EKE Projekt”). Alates 01.01.1969 nimetati EKE Varustuskontor ümber ENSV Kolhoosidevaheliste Ehitusorganisatsioonide Materiaaltehnilise Varustuse Valitsuseks ja PI “EKE Projekti” õppeosakond iseseisval bilansil olevaks asutuseks “EKE Õppekeskus”.
01.04.1969 likvideeriti Palivere Kolhoosidevaheline Ehitusmaterjalide Tootmise Ettevõte ning moodustati selle baasil EKE Palivere Ehitusvalitsus.
Maatöötajatele uute ja kaasaegsete elamutüüpide ja konstruktsioonide saamiseks ja elamute industriaalseks tootmiseks moodustati EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu tehnikavalitsuse juurde loominguline grupp “EKE Tare”.
01.10.1970 moodustati EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu juurde Maa-elamuehituskooperatiivide organiseerimise initsiatiivgrupp “Külatare”.
Alates 01.07.1971 moodustati EKE Vabariikliku Nõukogu juurde loominguline grupp “EKE Algoritm”, mille ülesannetesk oli juhtimise-, büroo- ja arvutustööde ratsionaliseerimise, mehhaniseerimise ja automatiseerimise arendamine.
19.11.1971 moodustati Hiiumaa Kolhooside Ehituskontor, mis alustas tegevust järgmise aasta algul.
EKP Keskkomitee ja ENSV Ministrite Nõukogu 30.12.1971 määruse nr 582 alusel nimetati ENSV Kolhoosidevaheliste Ehitusorgansiatsioonide Vabariiklik Nõukogu – Vabariiklikuks Koondiseks “Eesti Kolhoosiehitus”.
01.01.1972 moodustati EKE Ehitus- ja Montaazhivalitsus, mille eelkäijaks oli ENSV Põllumajanduse Ministeeriumi Ehitus- ja Montaazhivalitsus.
EKE volinike üldkoosolekul 08.06.1973 kinnitati Vabariikliku Koondise “Eesti Kolhoosiehitus” uus põhimäärus. Vastavalt sellele moodustati EKE nõukogu, kuhu kuulusid ametikoha järgi kõik EKE süsteemi organisatsioonide ja ettevõtete juhatajad, EKE juhatuse esimees ja tema asetäitjad.
ENSV Ministrite Nõukogu korraldusega nr 43-k, 25.01.1974 lubati moodustada isemajandav Spetsiaalne Konstrueerimise- ja Tehnoloogiabüroo “Desintegraator” PI “EKE Projekti” kompleksosakonna baasil. Asutamiskoosolek toimus 28.03.1974.
27.11.1974 vabastati EKE juhatuse esimehe ametikohalt H.Keernik ja uueks esimeheks valiti Vivo Tamm.
1983.aastal oli EKE süsteemis 27 organisatsiooni ja ettevõtet:

20.02.1985 eraldati Harju KEK-ist Mõigu Ehitusvalitsus ja selle baasil moodustati Mõigu KEK. 1985.a kevadel moodustati EKE Mehhaniseeritud Rändkolonn, mis tegi ehitus- ja montaazhitöid Karjala ANSV-s. EKE Mehhaniseeritud Rändkolonn likvideeriti 01.03.1991.
01.01.1987 anti SKTB “Desintegraator” üle ENSV Agrotööstuskomitee alluvusse.
29.06.1987 moodustati EKE ja Soome firma “Sadolin OY” poolt ühisettevõte “EKE Sadolin S.P.” puidukaitsevahendite ja värvide tootmiseks.
ENSV Ministrite Nõukogu 23.02.1988 määrusega nr 92 ja EKE Nõukogu 28.04.1987 otsusega nr 11 muudeti nime – Vabariiklik Koondis “Eesti Külaehitus” (lühend endiselt EKE).
1989 oli EKE-s 28 organisatsiooni ja ettevõtet. EKE Tööstusvalitsus lõpetas oma tegevuse 31.12.1989. 23 EKE süsteemi organisatsiooni ja ettevõtte poolt asutati EKE Väliskaubanduse Assotsiatsioon (EKE International). Moodustati Aktsiaettevõte “EKE Pank”, EKE Ehituse Vahenduse Ettevõte “EKVA” ja EKE organisatsioonide vaheline Aktsiaselts “TAMBET” (Tamsalu Ehitusmaterjalide Tehase baasil) ning ülesüsteemilise tähtsusega TIE “ESTONIA”, mille tegevuse valdkondadeks olid – turu-uuringud, tehnilis-majanduslik analüüs, litsentside ja tehnoloogiate ning muu intellektuaalse toodangu vahendamine, uute ettevõtete moodustamine ja käivitamine.
1990.a jooksul reorganiseeriti:

Jõhvi KEK – OÜ “Viruehitus”
Vabariikliku Koondise “Eesti Külaehitus” volikogu otsusega nr 2, 14.02.1991 reorganiseeriti Vabariiklik Koondis “Eesti Külaehitus” EKE halduses oleva ühise omandi baasil – Osaühinguks “Eesti Külaehitus” EKE õigusjärglasena.
